Moise Nondi, known in his career as Prince Naurice, is an artist of exceptional talent who has been crafting his unique sound from a young age. Born in DR Congo on March 9th, 2002, Prince Naurice began his musical journey at the tender age of three, featuring in music videos from well-known Congolese artists. By five, he was serving in his church as a drummer, an experience that sparked his interest in mastering various musical instruments which he continues to play to this day.
Prince Naurice’s music draws from the vibrant street culture of Kinshasa. In his third year of humanities studies, he began to explore the world of rap and urban music, also showcasing his talent for dance with a diverse range of styles from folkloric to hip hop.
A turning point came in his fourth year of studies when he released his first song – a heartfelt tribute to his late father. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of his semi-professional music career.
His musical style primarily revolves around rap (hip-hop) and urban music. However, his versatility as an artist enables him to experiment with various genres, underlining his status as an independent artist. He is the lyricist and composer of his own songs.
